Newly developed Goldhofer tower adapter RA4 - for 5.800 mm diameter.
Suitable for a combination with 7 axles in front and a 9-axle self-steering bogie.

- Welded construction of high quality fine-grained steel
- Payload 90.000 kg per adapter and 180.000 kg per adapter pair
- Executed as a free rotating device consisting of:
- A pair of oblique hydraulic cylinders functioning as pressure element
- Horizontal pulling element with length rods and connection cross
- Cross members with ball element and gríndshoe
- All hydraulic functions are operated via cable remote control
- Flexible system to add-on on different vehicles via load dispatch
- 4 claw bolts per adapter with tightening nuts
- Tower adapter width: 2.750 mm.
- Tower adapter height extendable with 2.000 mm from 3.750-5.750 mm.
- Vertical raise on the tower segment approx. 1.400 mm.
- Hydraulic cylinders for support of unloaded tower adapter on the bogie, raise 340 mm.
- Side displacement of unloaded tower adapter via hydraulic displacement plate
- Working platform with railing per adapter including ladder for both adapters
